Lyric Projectionist

LyricsThe Lyric Projectionist works mainly with Ez Worship, a well named program, that allows for the projection of lyrics and visual aids (PowerPoint, gifs, jpegs, etc.) onto the screen, allowing the congregation and vocalists to follow along with ease. The operator must be dedicated, focused, flexible, and have a good ear for music.

 

Time Commitments for Lyric Projectionists

  • Attendance of Sunday morning rehearsals, all Sunday services, as well as the Thursday night rehearsal on scheduled Sundays
  • Availability for nearly every other Sunday

Technical Qualifications

  • A sense of timing as to when to change lyrics
  • A willingness to learn and be flexible
  • Comfortable with multitasking
  • The ability to think on your feet (add another chorus, change the words, or change a song on the schedule quickly)
