But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and the ends of the earth.
- Acts 1:8

At Northeast we want to encourage every member to be “on mission”.  Using Acts 1:8 as a model of involvement, Northeast strives to be involved both locally and globally.

Go Local

On November 19 2011, we held our first Compassion Day. This was a great opportunity for our church body to serve our community and live out the mission that God has called us to. Through partnerships with the San Antonio Food Bank, HEB, Boysville, Haven for Hope, Children's Hunger Fund and Graceland Assisted Living we were able to help serve in these worthy organizations while growing together as a Community and clothed in Compassion. We hope that our people will come to be seen and known as the hands and feet of Jesus. Let us hear from you!

Go Global

Peru – In June 2011, we took a team of 18 people to serve the people of Tarma, Peru. We helped a NEBC supported missionary, Merrideth McAllister, through sports ministry and presentations in the schools. Our efforts reached the lost for Christ and assisted the start of a new church. Pray about going globally with NEBC in 2012. . . you will never be the same again.
