CAMP 2010
Kid's Camp is an exciting, fun filled week of overnight camp for kids who have completed 3rd-6th grade. Laughter, smiles, spiritual growth and lasting memories are the key elements that make this camp such a success.
Our History
In 2007, the Director of Children’s Ministries at that time, Sue Vanley, had a desire to have an over night camp for children who had completed grades 1-3. The camp was to be totally staffed by NEBC workers. The desire took feet and in July we had our very first Kid's Camp. Our theme in 2007 was Boot Camp and our verse was Ephesians 6:10 and our numbers were 96 campers and workers.
In 2008, our numbers grew to a total of 121 campers and workers. The theme for the week was The Amazing Race. Our verse was 2 Tim 4:7.
In 2009, we had 112 campers and workers at our Operation Faithful Heart camp. Our verse was Deut. 6:5 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
In 2010, we had 101 campers and volunteers attend our Soul Survival camp. Our verse was Romans 8:37 “We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” It was an awesome week of bible study, live worship, friendships, games, swimming, delicious food, zip-lining, rock wall climbing, river activities and more!
