Brad Sullard- Executive Pastor

Brad earned a BA in Bible and completed master’s work in biblical studies and biblical languages. Brad has served churches in Missouri, Oklahoma and Fort Worth. He served as a Chaplain for several years in the Navy, Baylor Hospital Dallas and in hospice care. Brad moved into administration the last few years of his hospice service. Brad and Kris helped start a new church where they served for 10 years prior to joining the NEBC ministry team. Brad was also instrumental in training and launching a church planter in Hyderabad, India. Brad enjoys hunting, watching college football and basketball, hanging with his son and gaming. Brad’s weakness is saying no to Ben and Jerry’s and Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Duane Ray - Interim Worship Pastor

Duane Ray serves as the Executive Director of MinistryEquip, an organization that helps churches and ministries grow healthier and more effective. His heart is to see people enjoy God through vibrant worship and a deepening intimacy with the Savior, Jesus Christ, and to prepare today's leaders for tomorrow's world. Duane has served churches for the last 20 years in roles including Worship Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Student Pastor. Duane served as NEBC's worship pastor from 1998-2006. Duane is celebrating 20 years of marriage to his wife Stephanie this month. They have four children: Jevonne (15), Sean (7), Keri (4), and Christine (1).
Mark Lemmons - Student Ministries Pastor
Mark hails from Houston, Texas
where he spent 18 years in a wonderful Christian home. He then became a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '96. After earning his BBA in Management, Mark went on to earn his Master's of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating in 2001. Prior to arriving at NEBC, he served in Houston at a local church and with Young Life. Mark has been serving NEBC's students and their families since the summer of 2006. He is happily married to his stunning wife Brittany, and God has blessed them with three precious children: Daley, Jacob and Greenley.
Mark enjoys watching college sports, playing sports of all kinds, studying God's Word, and long walks on the beach. . . not necessarily in that order. "I've been working with youth for over 13 years," I agree with the analogy I once heard that," Student Ministry is like an episode of LOST. It usually happens one hour at a time, there are plenty of interesting characters, and at the end you have to ask, 'What in the world just happened???'"
Summer McAuley - Interim Children's Ministry Direct
Summer grew up in a loving, supportive Christian home and made the decision to accept Christ as a young child. She attended Baylor University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a teaching certificate. Also while attending Baylor, she met and fell in love with her now husband, Zach McAuley. Zach and Summer both have a heart for service and have sought ways to serve at the churches they have attended.
Summer taught High School Family & Consumer Science classes and was the Family & Consumer Science Director. She loved being in the public school system and allowing God to use her in the lives of those high school students. She continued this role until becoming a mother, upon which she became a stay-at-home mom. Zach and Summer have been blessed with three amazing children, Caul, Molly and Ty.
Zach and Summer came to NEBC in September 2004. Zach is currently serving as a deacon. Summer has been actively involved at NEBC from the beginning. She has served with Family Matters, MOPS, VBS, Kid’s Camp and the Women’s Ministry Council. Summer was previously the Early Childhood Ministry Assistant. She considers it a privilege and honor to be serving part-time as the Interim Director of Children’s Ministry. Summer has a love for children.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with Zach, subbing at Comal Elementary, baking for others, exercise, and discipleship with her mentor. Her verse to live by is “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself.” Philippians 2:3-4
